RIIWHS205E Supersedes and is equivalent to RIIWHS205D as of 30th Jan 2020

This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to control traffic with stop-slow bat in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.  This unit addresses the competency required to control traffic using a stop/slow bat to ensure the safety of construction and maintenance workers, and the general public.

There are no prerequisites.

Three yearly as defined in the VESI Skills and Training Guideline

8 hours (Control traffic with stop-slow bat and Implement traffic management plan)

On successful completion of this course the learner will be issued with a nationally recognised
Statement of Attainment.

RIIWHS302D Implement traffic management plan is also to be completed in conjunction with RIIWHS205D Control traffic with stop-slow bat.
